Funniest moment ever: I have had so many funny moments in my life. The one that stands out to everyone in the family is: We were at Sea World many years ago. Adam was about 5 or 6 years old. It was hot and the kids needed sunscreen on their faces. Michelle got out the sunscreen and I held out my hand for the sunscreen and right at that moment, a seagull pooped right in my hand. It splashed everywhere. It sounds disgusting, but at that time, it was hilarious

Favorite Verse: 1 John 2:15-17 15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

Funniest moment ever:One year while volunteering at Forest Home Junior High Winter Camp I brought my video camera. After a chapel I was filming while we were walking to the dinning hall and I decided to ask a “guy” from another church a question. I unfortunately referred to him in the video as a female and “he” called me on it! He said’ “I’m a guy.” The best part is me trying to retract my statement which you can overhear on the video: “I, um, boy, um, right, umm, umm, uh, sorry, I didn’t…”

Your wisdom for your reader: One of your greatest tools for making decisions is seeking wisdom/advice for those you know or have access to. Take advantage of that!!! You don’t have to make difficult decisions alone. Just be sure that you seek genuine advice (even if you don’t like the answer) for the right answer and don’t just ask the select people that you know will give you the answer you want to hear…

Favorite Verse: 2 Corinthians 13: 5-7. 5Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. 7Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed.
Favorite food: Kentucky Fried Chicken (I’m on a mission to figure out the 11 Secret Herbs and Spices!)

Favorite Verse: John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as it’s own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” This is Jesus speaking to His disciples … today the same words are spoken to us as His present-day disciples. Funny how the Bible relates to OUR reality 2,000 years later. That is the power of the Word!
Favorite food: Anything that HAS pickles on it, and does NOT have vegetables. My mom’s macaroni casserole is bomb also.
Favorite Movie: Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Far and away the best movie ever made. Some people think it’s creepy … I think it’s magical.
Favorite band: P.O.D. If any of you know me even a little bit, you know this to be true. These fools are real O.G. ’s!
Funniest moment ever: It didn’t happen to me, but at camp a few weeks ago, Krazy Joe attempted a flip off the diving board of the Forest Home pool … the first step was ok … then the slip came … he then proceeded to land directly on his butt, followed by a perfect face plant straight into the water. It is hard to put into words how funny the scene actually was. Wow, what a Puerco!
Hobbies: Spending time with my family, you beautiful people reading this, and a few close friends. I’m also a HUGE sports fan. Lakers‘, Angels‘, and Chargers’ games are frequently being shown on my television set.
If I could hang out with anybody (beside Jesus) I would call up: Do they have to be living right now? If not, I would have to say Tupac Shakur. I don’t really recommend his music, but I do believe he was a believer, and what an amazing mind and heart this guy had. If it has to be a living person, I would say Ronny Turiaf. He used to play for the Lakers (sadly he now plays for the Warriors), but he seems like such an exciting, fun, and encouraging person to be around!
Your wisdom for your reader: Live your life with passion. Passion for Christ, for others, and for a better world. Never worry about what others think of you … Jesus didn‘t. Fight and die for your convictions. Never underesti mate the things you can do if you empty yourself everyday to be used by Him.

Favorite Verse: Isaiah 41: 9-10
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, 'You are my servant';
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Favorite Movie: “Rosencrance and Guildenstern are Dead” and the original “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” the 80’s BBC edition.
Favorite band: Todd Agnew, and OC Supertones (ska should not be dead!)
Funniest moment ever: So when I was still in High School we were driving to the river with the Youth Group and we were talking about other trips we had been on. I mentioned that I had been kayaking in the Pacific Ocean a few weeks before. The girl in the seat in front of me turned around and said with a perfectly straight and serious face, “Where’s the Pacific Ocean?” We laughed for a good five minutes before we found out she was serious. In the end it was really sad and probably pretty mean. But I mean really? We teased her about it for a long time. The next beach trip I asked her, “… what ocean are we in?” Her response: “Duh... Huntington!”
Hobbies:Music I guess, I get paid to do tech stuff now so I guess that doesn’t count as a hobby any more. I do video games too. I think that still counts right? Oh and I like going to theme parks. I don’t really care which one I just like them.
If I could hang out with anybody (beside Jesus) I would call up: I imagine hanging out with some biblical character would be a bit awkward with the whole language barrier and stuff. So I’m going to keep it simple and say my wife. (10 points) We have lots of fun when we just get to hang out. So I think that would be enjoyable.
Your wisdom for your reader:My opinion is exactly that. Take everything I say at face value unless I’m reading it from a Bible.

Favorite Verse: 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of God, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” NAS

Favorite band: The Grace High School Ministries Worship Band. Those guys are awesome….but seriously, I love Hillsong. And it goes without saying, but the amazing Phil Whickham!
Funniest moment ever: Ok, so this one time (all funny stories start with “Ok, so this one time”) I bought a balloon for my friend Daryl for his birthday, and as I was walking away from the store, I was looking up at the balloon because it had a duck on it and ducks are interesting. Anyway, as I was looking up at the duckie balloon, I walked straight into a handicapped sign! The pole was shaking as I walked away in search of my dignity. Ironic? I think yes!
Hobbies: I knit (yes, get over it. Knitting is awesome. . . times two). I also play the clarinet and the guitar, although I do neither very well. I enjoy writing in any form, and I also enjoy hanging out with the awesome high school kids at Grace Church. Yee-uh!
If I could hang out with anybody (besides Jesus) it would be: YOU. And Phil Whickham because that guy is amazing (and three months older than me, and really cute. . . To Do: find and marry Phil Whickham)!
Your wisdom for your reader: Ask God for the strength and wisdom to listen to your parents, and other adults who love you (ie—all of us leaders!). Choose your friends wisely; love yourself enough to surround yourself with godly people who will support you, pray for you, and love you through this journey of life.
